This time 5 years ago, we took the monumental step of moving from our existing premises to our purpose-built, sustainable new home.
In April 2021, our team did a fantastic job of pulling together over the Easter weekend and making a huge ask possible (especially given the constraints and challenges a global pandemic brought with it!).
Not only did we do it in good time, but we also hit the ground running and were straight back to ‘work as normal’ after the Easter break. To be honest, we haven’t looked back since.
Since Easter 2021, we have dispatched circa 7.4 million pallets from our new site. It is a stupendous achievement and all down to the hard work of the team and the planning and processes that a purpose-built site, that has thought of everything down to procedure, health & safety and sustainability, enables.
To celebrate this immense achievement and milestone, the team had a well-deserved lunchtime treat!
Five years on, and in our new chapter as an integral part of the RotomUK operation, we are not resting on our laurels and are still working on continuous improvements that benefit our customers, staff and planet.
