Kingsbury Pallets Limited are delighted to announce their move to their brand-new, purpose-built sustainable premises in Dosthill, Tamworth after 20 years at their original location.
Having purchased an 8-acre development site back in 2018, the challenge was to design and build a new site with a remit to deliver sustainable pallet practices and a safe, positive environment for our employees.
Managing Director, Jon Towers, said;
“After 25 successful years in the business, we knew we could still be doing better. The new site gave us a blank canvas to start from scratch and try to create a better working environment for our team and create an operation that would also benefit our customers. This would then enable us to offer market-leading solutions for pallet processing and feed through into our customer’s sustainability targets.”
Planning permission was successfully obtained in January 2019 and construction started in the Autumn of the same year.
Little did we know that a global pandemic was just around the corner but thanks to support from our fantastic partners at Tame Construction and HCT Construction Consultants we managed to continue to build through to completion in early 2021.
During Easter of 2021, our dedicated workforce helped move our operation into our new site so that our customers and waste management partners enjoyed a smooth transition with no interruption to their service.
