A Kitten’s Amazing Pallet Journey…
At Kingsbury Pallets, we handle pallets day in and day out, but every now and then, something unexpected comes along to remind us of the joys that can occur in our line of work. This is the tale of Moby, the tiny kitten who embarked on an adventure – and found his way into our hearts here at Kingsbury Pallets.
A Surprising Discovery
About a month ago, one of our FLT drivers made a heartwarming and unusual find. While unloading a trailer of pallets, he discovered a tiny kitten nestled between the stacks. Having travelled alone for hours, the little one was barely a few days old but, amazingly, still alive and alert.
A Race Against Time
Our team didn’t hesitate, taking the kitten straight to the local vet. The vet confirmed that he was a boy, no more than a week old, and despite the journey he’d endured, he was in surprisingly good health. We named him Moby, and thanks to the care of a dedicated vet nurse, he has been hand-reared into the playful little boy he is today.
A Happy Ending
Moby’s adventure doesn’t just end with his survival – it marks the start of a new life. He now has a forever home with a friend of one of our employees, where he’ll be loved and well cared for. Isn’t that so lovely?
At Kingsbury Pallets, we’re proud of the work we do with pallets—from production and reuse to recycling and repair. But stories like Moby’s remind us that it’s not just about business; it’s also about the moments of kindness and community that happen along the way. We may specialise in sustainable pallet solutions, but sometimes, the smallest lives make the biggest impact.
