Did you know we are a proud member of the Wood Recyclers’ Association (WRA) and recycle pallets at our sites?
We are one of more than 120 WRA members, and we represent over 90 per cent of the UK’s wood recyclers and reprocessors.
What does this mean?
At a basic level, it means we recycle or reprocess redundant wooden pallets into wood chips to a high, ethical standard.
However, if we look more closely at our operation, the ability to process end-of-life pallets into wood chips marks the final step in our process.
We are primarily focused on the purchase of good and broken wooden pallets and can offer industry-leading rebates for your surplus or repairable pallets. In addition, we can disassemble and re-use odd-sized pallets, ensuring that whatever pallet components can be economically
utilised are fed into our repair and remanufacturing process.
When we recycle or reprocess wood, we:
- Conserves natural resources
- Reduce waste sent to landfills
- Lessen the need to cut down more trees
- Preserving forests so they can absorb carbon dioxide.
- Reduces the carbon footprint associated with wood production and transportation
- So many benefits!
If you find yourself with pallets that you no longer need, we can help.
We offer different methods of collection depending on volume to make it even easier for you to recycle your pallets and avoid sending them to landfills.
As our WRA membership confirms, all our collections are:
- Completed with the correct waste transfer paperwork
- Handled in accordance with the waste hierarchy
- Processed at our legally compliant sites
Our Grade A wood chip is fed back to industry-leading reprocessors to close the loop at the end of a pallet’s useful life.
